Position Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable back-end systems for high-traffic travel/ticketing platforms. You will also contribute to legacy Laravel-based applications and support integration between systems. This role demands expertise in modern back-end development, API design, database optimization, and cloud-ready architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
  • Support and optimize existing Laravel-based applications when required.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations (payment gateways, booking APIs, etc.).
  • Work with databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL) to ensure performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with front-end teams (React/Next.js) to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Implement caching, queue systems, and real-time features where needed.
  • Ensure platform security, performance, and reliability across multiple projects.
  • Contribute to Agile sprints, code reviews, and team knowledge sharing.

    • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 3+ years’ professional experience in back-end development.
    • Strong expertise in Node.js (Express.js, NestJS, or similar frameworks).
    • Secondary expertise in Laravel/PHP (ability to support legacy projects).
    • Front-end development experience with React.js and/or Next.js.
    • Proficiency in Git & GitHub (branching, PRs, version control best practices).
    • Proficiency in MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
    • Experience with REST APIs, JWT/OAuth authentication, payment integrations.
    • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/DigitalOcean/GCP).
    • Strong debugging, optimization, and analytical problem-solving skills.

    Nice-to-Have Skills

    • Experience in building scalable travel/tour or e-commerce platforms.
    • Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
    • Familiarity with SEO-friendly development and tracking integrations (GA4, GTM).

    Workspace & Hours

    • Location: 205/4, Begum Rokeya Sarani,West Kafrul,Dhaka.
    • Working Days: 6 Days
    • Working Hours:10.00am-6.00pm

    Compensation

    • Salary Range: 35000-60000 (based on experience and skills)
    • Salary Review: Annually
    • Two Festival Bonus
    • 6 Months Probation Period
